Rear Window Shoot captures the atmospheric rear facade and garden that Slim Aarons photographed in collaboration with Alfred Hitchcock for the iconic 1954 film. The building's weathered brick walls, fire escapes zigzagging down multiple stories, and intimate courtyard garden create the claustrophobic urban landscape that became central to Hitchcock's masterpiece. This mid-century New York setting, with its layers of windows and adjoining spaces, evokes the voyeuristic tension and mystery that defined 1950s cinema, where every architectural detail contributed to the film's psychological depth and visual storytelling power.

Rear Window Shoot transforms your space into a gallery of cinematic history, where the intersection of architectural photography and film heritage creates conversations that resonate with movie enthusiasts and design aficionados alike. This print brings the mystique of Hitchcock's voyeuristic masterpiece into your home, where the weathered urban textures and geometric complexity of those fire escapes become a sophisticated focal point. Your living room, study, or hallway gains the gravitas of mid-century New York cinema, connecting you to a moment when architecture itself became a character in storytelling, inviting guests to discover the layers of meaning within this celebrated collaboration.

Q: Prints are listed in cm and inches - what size will I receive?
We produce prints in both metric (cm) and imperial (inches) sizes. The sizing format depends on the product type and your delivery location. In almost all cases, the difference between metric and imperial conversions is only a few millimetres.

Q: How does the border affect the size of the print?
The total size of the print always matches the size you select. If you choose to add a border, it is included within that size and slightly reduces the image area.

Q: What are the dimensions if I order a framed print?
The size you select refers to the internal dimensions of the frame — the print size including any border. The frame moulding adds approximately an inch to each side, so the outer framed dimensions will be about 2 inches larger in both height and width.

Q: Are these limited-edition or numbered prints?
All prints are not produced in fixed or numbered editions. Each piece is made to order using archival pigment inks on museum-grade fine-art paper for exceptional clarity and longevity.
