Polo Cage brings you into an intimate moment of equestrian refinement, where Slim Aarons captured Sean Murray Cooley and Marcus Aurelius Cooley in November 1976, the brothers unwinding after morning riding practice on their wooden training horse. The polo cage's weathered wood frames their relaxed postures and casual elegance, while their riding attire and the training equipment surrounding them speak to a world where privilege and discipline intertwine naturally, creating a scene that embodies the sophisticated leisure of Palm Beach's equestrian society.

This photograph transforms your space into a sanctuary of understated refinement, where the Cooley brothers' post-practice ease becomes a daily reminder that true sophistication lies in the moments between achievement and ambition. As Slim Aarons understood, the most compelling luxury isn't performed but lived, and when you bring Polo Cage into your home, your guests discover themselves drawn to a scene where equestrian tradition meets genuine leisure, where every glance reinforces your appreciation for lifestyle captured without pretense or stiff formality.

Available in photo lustre or matte finish, professionally framed in black, white, or natural wood. This classic photograph brings vintage Palm Beach equestrian culture into your living space, offering timeless appeal and sophisticated charm that elevates any interior while serving as an engaging conversation piece about an era when leisure and discipline shaped society's most refined circles.

Q: Prints are listed in cm and inches - what size will I receive?
We produce prints in both metric (cm) and imperial (inches) sizes. The sizing format depends on the product type and your delivery location. In almost all cases, the difference between metric and imperial conversions is only a few millimetres.

Q: How does the border affect the size of the print?
The total size of the print always matches the size you select. If you choose to add a border, it is included within that size and slightly reduces the image area.

Q: What are the dimensions if I order a framed print?
The size you select refers to the internal dimensions of the frame — the print size including any border. The frame moulding adds approximately an inch to each side, so the outer framed dimensions will be about 2 inches larger in both height and width.

Q: Are these limited-edition or numbered prints?
All prints are not produced in fixed or numbered editions. Each piece is made to order using archival pigment inks on museum-grade fine-art paper for exceptional clarity and longevity.
